Wow. The Fire finally figure out who they want as a new head coach, and they low-ball him? Again, not surprised that the front office blew this one, but I'm surprised at how, and how completely. Now is Denis Hamlett going to want the job, knowing he was the second choice? Is Chicago going to have to fight a reputation as a cheap organization? Is anybody going to want this gig? And is there irony with the jersey sponsor reported to be Best Buy?

Keep an eye on that jersey deal, as we've seen things go very wrong between the leak and the announcement before.
