Klopas On The Radio

I was running errand on Saturday, started the car, and immediately heard former Fire forward Frank Klopas on WBBM. Then the news anchor said something about Mayor Daley and kids and the Olympics, so it clearly wasn't about the Fire head coaching gig, especially since it wasn't during the sports block.

I had a hunch it might have been about the new indoor soccer facility on the near southwest side, and Luis confirms it.

As an aside, I've played at this new facility twice, and as far as I can tell, there is no Chicago Fire signage whatsoever anywhere in the building. I wish I could say I was surprised by that.

"I was running errand?"

Can I has cheeseburger now? ;)

I'm going to take that as a compliment, in that my typos are so few and far between that they stick out like a sore thumb when they happen. Yeah, that's the ticket.
