RAM Not-So-Tough

Cautious optimism is going to be the death of me.
After some promising early returns, it seems that the RAM was not the issue, either. At this point, I think the only possibilities left are the CPU and the graphics card.
I know this because I've now got Winamp Remote running on that home machine, so I can listen to my home MP3 collection from work, and it just died on me. On the plus side, Winamp Remote is pretty darn cool. I'm surprised at how good the streaming MP3 files sound.
