Let The Meta-Games Begin!

Looks like someone is trying to play down expectations for the tournament. If Argentina is going to succeed, it's going to be crucial for Messi to pretty much carry the team on his back. So if the Argentine camp is already worried about his durability before they've played a match, the South American heavyweights could be in real trouble.

On the other hand, they could be trying to trick opponents into going easier on Messi than they planned, which I can't imagine anyone falling for.
