I have to say, the possibilities for supporters chants would have been much greater were Niouky Desire of Senegal to be linked with the Fire instead of New England, even though rhyming "fire" with "desire" is the scourge of enlightened songwriters everywhere. Still, if they do sign him, I will be very disappointed with New England fans if they don't start singing "Desire" from U2 for this guy whenever he touches the ball. Which means I'll be very disappointed, because the one time I went to Gillette for a match this year, I felt like I could have single-handedly outsung the locals.
