Game Day Preparations

If you're wondering why there's no "Firing Away" for tonight's opener, I've been brought up to the big leagues, where I'll be manning the STATS Match Center for MLSNET.com, both for the Fire-Dallas and New England-San Jose matches.

While this means I won't be able to be quite so snarky, or poke as much fun at announcers, it's still a great opportunity, so I'd be dumb not to give it a go.

I would say I might try to do a tape-delayed running commentary, but I know what my TiVo backlog looks like, so I wouldn't count on it.
