With An Offseason To Prepare

Sorry, but pointing out how overrated Juan Carlos Osorio is just never gets old for me. It's like picking on DeRogatis in the music page. Former Fire and RSL exec Steve Pastorino runs down last night's opener, and makes the following devastating point:

How does the expansion team have five better players on the bench than the 14th-year club? Sturgis, Ianni, Stephen King, Sturgis, Wahl... plus the #1 pick Zakuani and the local sentimental favorite, Roger Levesque. Oh, and that Ljungberg guy didn't even dress. Compare with Dufty (who??!!), Borman, Mbuta, Sassano, Wolyniec... I'm ok with Oduro and Jeremy Hall.

To which Ives would certainly say "there's help on the way," but I already told you what I think about that.
