I don't think Brian McBride is going back to Fulham. I don't doubt that Fulham have inquired about bringing him in on a loan, but "in talks" is a pretty nebulous term. There's no indication that anyone within MLS is receptive to the idea. Roy Hodgson may have left a message on someone's voice mail that hasn't been returned, for all we know.

Of course, I could try to pull some strings and get the real scoop here, but for a spurious 11th-hour rumor, I don't think it's worth it.
