Luis Drops A Bomb?

Okay, so the ownership change I mentioned on Tuesday wasn't official until today. But Luis Arroyave somewhat blithely mentions that "as part of the agreement, Andell also acquired the Toyota Park management contract."

If that means what I think it means, AEG is entirely out of the Chicago -- okay, the Bridgeview -- market, and given the notion of the concert business piggybacking on the soccer business that's been the conventional wisdom since day one, that means they're bailing on that strategy, at least in Chicago. Curious. Not surprising, given the all-out clash of the titans between JAM and Live Nation, but still curious.
