This is weird. I get the Washington Post's daily headlines via e-mail. It's actually kind of interesting, because DC United tends to be one of the sports headlines through most of the summer, until both college and pro football start up in the fall, at which point soccer stories don't make the top five or six that make the cut.
That doesn't explain yesterday, though. The day after DC United played -- on national television, no less -- there is a featured soccer story in the daily e-mail, only it's about Chelsea beating Liverpool in the English Premiership. I don't know if this is indicative of anything, but it's at least worth noting.
