Mid-Season Form

Played indoor for the first time this season last night. Despite a good 40 minutes doing cardio three times a week for a while now, the sprinting pretty much kicked my ass. And my left heel, which may have been my choice of footwear.

I could tell I was already back to playing "my" game when one of the guys on the other team took exception to his abrupt meeting with the floor. Hey, don't hate me 'cause I'm bigger than you.

The team -- which I was playing with for the first time -- didn't fare so well. Hopefully future matches will involve some better weak side defense, as we were letting guys get behind us all night when the ball went down into the corner. If it wasn't for our 'keeper, it would have been brutal.

Anto is on another team in this league, but we didn't draw them in the "regular season."
