Pick of the week
Tonight's Robbie Fulks (Hideout) and Richard Thompson (Pritzker Pavilion) shows look good, as does with Guided By Voices at the Green Music Festival (Damen and North, and featuring a "bicycle-powered stage"). Both Friday (Justin Townes Earle) and Saturday (Los Lobos) look good at the Two Brothers Summer Festival in Aurora.

Made it out to see Kaiser Chiefs at Taste of Randolph on Saturday night, and they put on a good show. A friend of mine thinks their new record is their best yet, but I haven't given it that serious of a listen yet, so I got more mileage out of the older, more popular tunes. Certainly worth the $10 "suggested" donation.
