Gremlins In The Sun-Times Editor's Office

I guess since I'm not planning on going to the Curiosa festival on Thursday, I'm contenting myself to read lots of stories about it. From a story in today's Sun-Times about headliners The Cure, with emphasis added:

And the group is currently headlining the Curiosa tour, which will bring a handful of like-minded young bands such as the Rapture, Interpol and Mowgli to the Tweeter Center on Thursday.

Here's the full story, in case they don't fix it. The Mogwai, of course, were the race of gremlins. Mowgli was the cute one that the kid bought and accidentally fed after midnight and got wet and all those other things he wasn't supposed to do. And the band is the former, not the latter. Still, it's kind of a funny mistake.

Where's Phoebe Cates when you need her?

Saw "Gremlins 2" on one of the Spanish channels the other day.
Gotta say I liked it better that way.
