I've long said that one of things slowly happening as "people my age" and perhaps a bit younger get involved in fields like journalism is that we'll get wittier references, along with the Daily Show-esque refusal to explain them to the lowest common pop culture denominator. Ana Marie Cox has always been the leading light in this movement, but David Kurtz at Talking Points Memo is today's case in point, because if you don't know South Park, you're just not going to get it.
