On the news of his passing, I have to tell the story of how I saw Norm Van Lier at Martyrs' for a Liquid Soul show once, and he was up on stage, dancing with the band, having a great old time. No question that he absolutely loved the Bulls and Chicago, so expect the tributes to start pouring out immediately.
