Jon Stewart Explains Cognitive Dissonance

NP: The Daily Show with Jon Stewart

I was going to post a clip and make this comment last week, but never got around to it. Anyway, remember all those people who asked if The Daily Show could still be funny post-Dubya? What those people are missing is that the show is primarily making fun of the news media. That's the entire premise of the program, going back to day one.

Getting to make fun of the news itself is just the icing on the cake. And lord knows, as long as the news channels do stuff like this, Stewart has absolutely nothing to worry about.
