First, Obama admits he "screwed up" the Daschle nomination. Now he's taking questions in public from people who don't agree with him. My reaction to all this is a weird mix of astonishment that expectations are so hideously low for presidential performance, coupled with relief that the new guy is, to borrow a phrase from Larry Brown, "playing the game the right way."
