NP: Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Tarkus
Okay, I didn't realize there were five whole screens of data.
Cool.
My new stat of the day is that 57% of those polled thought Obama attacked Clinton (and/or, I would assume, Edwards) unfairly, and among those voters, he still won over Hillary by 8 points. Only 24% of those who thought Hillary was attacking unfairly still voted for her. The combination of these two segments can be combined into the "Chris Matthews Elbow-Throwing Factor."
And, of the 22% of those polled who said American is not ready to elect a black president, 23% voted for Obama anyway. By comparison, only 8% of those who said we're not ready for a female president -- 23% of the total -- still voted for Clinton anyway.
Finally, the split of the white vote was interesting, in that 45% of white men went for Edwards, while 42% of white women went for Hillary. It's the near-mirror image that stands out.
