No, it's not a George Bush foreign policy post, it's a Google post. Slate is of a mind that the Android announcement gets up in the grill of AT&T and Verizon, and the key quote may be "Over the coming years we can expect the Bell system to do everything in its power to destroy or subjugate Google." With Google trying to win over the FTC and the EC right now, is poking a hornet's nest of moneyed interests really such a good idea? Couldn't this have waited until, oh, I don't know, April?
