Measuring Obama

I've been slightly annoyed at all the Clinton-as-inevitable stories when we're still three or four months from a single primary vote being cast. Andrew Sullivan pretty much nails it when he says "Washington may have already decided Clinton has won; but the country hasn't." This goes to the comment yesterday about Chris Matthews. You wonder if there's something going on that conventional wisdom is fundamentally unable to measure.
