I don't actually hate to say I told you so. For years now, I've looked at the high-rises going up south of the Loop and figured there's no way there's enough demand to fill them. That's been the guiding light in my opinion that there is a housing bubble and -- as Alan Greenspan just noted -- it's going to burst.
So it came as no surprise whatsoever to me that there's a 1,000-unit building that's been scrapped as condominiums.
