Boys In The Girls' Room
NP: Jimmy Chamberlin Complex, Life Begins Again
I walk past the House of Blues on my way to the gym, and Monday night was the big Backstreet Boys reunion show. As is custom, there's a bit of a line waiting to get in to the venue. So I decided to do a quick little demographic study.
By my count, there were maybe 30 males of the species in a line that was at least 300 or 400 strong. If you only count ones that didn't seem to be obviously with girlfriends, we're talking at least a 25-1 ratio female to male.
Not that it's at all surprising, but it's still surprising.
