Carlos Bocanegra has a new team in France, but it was this bit in Ives' reporting on the subject that jumped out at me:
The U.S. captain during the past World Cup, Bocanegra has not made a decision on his national team future, stating he would continue to make himself available for selection.
Sounds like he's decided to "make himself available for selection" to me, which sounds an awful lot like a decision on his national team future. This reminds me of when he got the captain's armband from Landon, and certain commentators of Peruvian origin said it was a "rotation." Why does Bocanegra -- and pretty much every USMNT guy out of Chicago -- get no respect?
