Luis has a Q&A with Bakary Soumare from the fans, and with Baky being as respected as I think he is among fans, I have to wonder how they'll respond to his praise of one of Fire fandom's favorite whipping boys:

People often refer to McHead and Mr White, but who do you think is the most important piece of that team?

Thank you. Honestly, besides the Fire, I would not want to play for any other team in MLS. Temo and Brian are obviously very important pieces of this team. Buschy is a key figure of this team, but the heart and soul of this squad is, without a doubt, Logan Pause.

Who is the most underrated Fire player?

Gonzalo does not get the credit he deserves. But in our group, Logan Pause is by far the most underrated. Not too many people seem to realize what the guy brings to this team. He reminds me of Claude Makelele -- he does ALL the dirty work and very rarely makes mistakes. The guy is the heart of this team and the best “true” defensive midfielder in our league.

I have to wonder because, despite my newfound free time, I'm still not reading message boards. My life is depressing enough right now.
