I was just finishing up a post on how it's entirely possible that Fulham were asking about Brian McBride, but the Fire weren't "in talks," per se, when I saw this. I still think it could be a case where the Fire organization never really took the loan idea seriously, which makes Hodgson sound like he's just whining, but I'm not as sure of that as I was.
