Ives thinks that the Dwayne DeRosario trade is a coup for Toronto FC, but this makes me wonder just how many Houston Dynamo matches Ives watched this past season. Considering that the Dynamo are not the New York Red Bulls, I'm guessing not too many.

Maybe the change of scenery and the return home will energize him, but he did not appear to have the kind of impact we're used to seeing from the native Canadian. That Western Conference final should have been proof enough, but the whole Red Bulls "Team of Destiny" Kool-Aid might have made that less apparent to the East Coast soccer scribe.
