Oops

I get the feeling that MLSNET has been sitting on this piece from Kent McDill since right after the MLS season ended. Why? Well, there's this bit:

WHAT RESERVES ARE MOST READY TO MOVE INTO THE TEAM?

Fire midfielder Stephen King started eight games when the Fire had international callups or players missing games due to yellow card accumulation (the Fire had very few games missed due to injury among their starters). King finished with two goals and an assist and was very dangerous going forward. He also held his own in the middle, rarely losing possession needlessly.

King, of course, was picked up by Seattle in the expansion draft a couple of weeks ago.

Comments

Knowing McDill, it's also entirely possible that he had no knowledge of that. Or didn't think to update it after the expansion draft.
