When confronted with fans frothing at the mouth over Fire defender Wilman Conde, my response has typically been that he's not even the second-best defender on the team this year. Now Luis Arroyave has a poll up at the Tribune, and as of this writing, he's not even the third-best defender when you consider goalkeeper Jon Busch to be part of the unit.
With 102 total responses, it's Soumare (33), Busch (30), Segares (23) and finally Conde (16). Makes you wonder what might have happened if Luis had included the remarkably steady (for a guy we got off waivers) Brandon Prideaux.
