Unclear On The Concept

Wikipedia describes "hot stove league" as off-season talk with a focus on player movement. For some reason, ESPN is calling Allen Hopkins' columns "hot stove scuttlebutt" despite the fact that it's in season, and the latest installment doesn't have any trade rumors whatsoever. I don't think the last one did, either.

I'd say this probably isn't Hopkins' fault, but the people at ESPN at least should know better.
