Let The Jockeying For Position Begin

Brian McBride is coming home. Luis flags the FulhamFC.com story on his blog, along with the ramifications for MLS clubs who want him.

One thing he doesn't address, though, is how Designated Player money might factor into who has dibs. Could the Fire pry a second DP slot away from Houston or San Jose for some combination of players that includes, say, Chad Barrett, Calen Carr and Wilman Conde? The Amado Guevara trade last year set the bar pretty low in terms of return value.
