It's curtains for Big Jimmy in Chicago. I've always been a fan of Jim Curtin, and will miss him, but this is probably a good move for everybody involved. Injuries (and the resurgence of a certain National Team defender in 2006) have kept him out of the lineup for the better part of two years now, and he would have an uphill climb to win back the starting spot in central defense next season, especially with a healthy Osei Telesford also thrown into the mix. Plus, he's reunited with Jesse Marsch, and I know those two were good friends back in Chicago.
Good luck, Jimmy.
