I'm not saying John Kass didn't actually convert to a soccer fan, I'm just saying it's equally possible that his soccer-playing kids want tickets for Sunday's sold-out Beckham-Blanco showdown, and he figured a love letter might help soften up the Fire front office for a couple of comps.
Call me cynical, but when it comes to the Trib and the Fire, I feel like I have every right to be.
