I don't think the store would go away, but it's hard to predict what might happen if they're forced to rent the building they presently own.
Bizarrely, I'm literally on my way to Chicago Soccer tonight as I'm writing on this story too. I don't understand how this is a legitimate use of eminent domain at all -- as I understand it, in Illinois, that only applies to 'blighted' property.
