Defending Dave

Back when Dave Sarachan was fired, there was an undercurrent in the media of sympathy or even anger at the move. Over at his Washington Post blog, Steven Goff is one guy who hasn't quite let go of it.

With Ives Galarcep reporting that the new ownership isn't going to make any major front office changes, I wonder if the hint of anti-John Guppy (President/CEO of the Fire) sentiment through the mainstream media's defense of Sarachan will become more apparent if the play on the field points towards someone other than Dave being the problem.
