Much-Needed Improvement
NP: Elbow, Leaders of the Free World
I meant to post this earlier in the week, but apparently they're going to fix the "suicide ramps" onto the Kennedy Expressway just west of the Loop in Chicago. I tend to just remember that the westbound Jackson ramp gives you your own lane so you don't have to jump right into the fast lane, but I only know that because I've had some close calls. And I don't know if any of the eastbound ramps do that, either. So, anyway, that's now two ways in which I personally benefit from the stimulus plan, along with the COBRA payment reductions.
Of course, now I have to figure out what's open and closed due to construction, but I skip those exits to get to the Stevenson for soccer often enough to figure that out.
