Slow News Days for a Slow Economy

NP: shuffle play

Earlier this week, it was the New York Times writing about gyros. Today it's the Washington Post and Crocs. Both stories seem to go out of their way to link themselves to the recession, although I guess there's a case to be made for gyros being recession-proof and for Crocs to be a cautionary tale about irrational optimism about future business performance. Still, the connections feel a bit forced. And one of them makes me hungry.
