The Dow is up for the fifth out of six days, with the sixth being mostly a push. And why? "A better-than-expected housing market report released Tuesday gave investors a reason to cheer." With my condo purchase* waiting only on the final mortgage approval -- keep your fingers crossed, but it seems like it's just a matter of paperwork at this point -- I take full credit for this turnaround.
* I think the report was really new housing starts and not existing home sales, but never mind that.
