The Ominbus Nets Chicago An Omnitrain
NP: Maximo Park, Our Earthly Pleasures
Looks like the Circle Line might actually happen, which I think is a good thing. Hub-and-spoke is a drag of massive proportions on public transit in this town. Suspiciously absent from the CTA developments tied to the omnibus bill is any sort of extension of the Orange Line that would get it closer to Toyota Park. Unfortunate, but given the lack of political sophistication of the Fire front office since moving to Bridgeview, not at all surprising.
