Faster Than The Speed of (Rational) Thought

NP: Jeff Beck, performing this week...live at Ronnie Scott's

Andrew Sullivan detects a bit of a backlash against the warp-speed coverage of politics. I agree, and one of the reasons I haven't been posting much on the political front lately is that the minutiae of coverage has been ridiculous. The need to be on top of every tiny movement with a forceful opinion in order to get heard in the combined noise of the 24-hour news channels and the blogosphere has been very off-putting, but I don't see how that changes any time soon.
