Here we go again. This morning MP3 playback started showing the same signs it did before my machine went to its most recent hell, although I may have helped it along in trying to fix it. At this point, I have a pretty strong suspicion that there's something physically wrong with my MP3 drive, so further testing will focus on that. As it turns out, the last rebuild increased the capacity of my internal drive to the point where I could move all my MP3 files there if I wanted to.
