It Couldn't Have Been That Easy
NP: Kansas City Wizards vs. FC Dallas
So I thought maybe the little RAM-freeing utility might have somehow been the root of all my computer problems.
It wasn't. Just for shits and grins, we'll next check and see if System Mechanic might be the culprit. The idea here is that some process that is always on when the machine is running could be causing the instability. After this, I think I'm stuck with finally relenting and re-installing Windows.
