One of the most salient things I've noticed about the CTA "Doomsday" plan is how all the express buses get whacked. Considering how many young, urban professionals -- if only someone would come up with a handy moniker for this demographic -- take those buses along Sheridan/Lake Shore between Fullerton and Belmont, I have to wonder if CTA is explicitly aiming to piss off people that lawmakers actually care about, as crass as that may sound.
