GOP Schism Watch
NP: Los Angeles Galaxy vs. Columbus Crew
It's been nine months since I linked to a piece on GOP discontent starting to drive toward a fracturing of the Republican party, and now that discontent may have given birth to an actual movement in the face of a Giuliani nomination.
Again, while it's not the third party I would prefer, in that it doesn't better represent me than either of the two main options, I still think any viable third party would benefit this system, in this case because it would isolate and marginalize the religious fanatics.
