Upon further investigation, the TiVo/CableCARD situation is neither hunky nor dory, and the stock Comcast answer for everything seems to be "unplug it for a minute." I did get a follow-up call today -- on top of the follow-up tech visit coming tonight -- and the person I talked to may have sent the right signal to the cards to get them working again. We'll see in about an hour when I get home.
