Why I Like Bloggers

NP: Countdown with Keith Olbermann

Chris Cilizza writes a political blog for one of the biggest newspapers in the country, the Washington Post. But when a Democratic presidential debate conflicts with another passion -- in this case, the NBA draft -- a "traditional" journalist would have to suck it up and do his job. As part of this new, more personal news reporting, Cilizza talks about the draft midstream.

Other people might not like that -- and if the comments on any political blog that veers off-topic are any indication, other people certainly don't -- but I like that kind of constant reminder that these people telling you things are real people.
