Okay, you have to love that, in an opinion piece in the Washington Post, sci-fi author and futurist Bruce Sterling says:

That part in italics, of course, is the first line of William Gibson's cyberpunk classic Neuromancer, and it was in fact a post on Gibson's blog that led me to the article in the first place, so you know he dug the reference.
