After All Of That
I've been fighting with my new phone all week, but it looks like I could have just waited a day or two and downloaded ActiveSync 4.5, which seems to have succeeded where 4.2 had failed during the initial load of a new partnership between phone and computer.
Further updates as events warrant. I know this is crucially important information here, but I've been so preternaturally focused on one project at work that my brain doesn't seem to be churning on other stuff as much lately.
