Via Chicagoist comes a story about mittens and transit cards. Chicagoist gets all hot -- no pun intended, and if you believe that, I can't help you -- and bothered about cold cards not working so well, but the more important aspect here is not having to take your gloves off to get your card out of your pocket/purse/whatever.
So I'm intrigued. And I wonder if just slipping the card into your glove without the actual pocket would work.
