NP: Fulham vs. Blackburn
Okay, so it's not the "this is what I had for lunch" kind of post that is the bane of the blogosphere, but it sort of feels that way. This week I bought two 10-ounce packages of frozen vegetables, the kind where you boil or microwave the bag and then cut it open and serve. One is seasoned vegetables, and one is broccoli, rice and "cheese-flavored sauce." What's odd is that one of the packages -- the seasoned veggies -- claims 10 ounces to be "about 3" servings, while the other says the package is a single serving.
You'd figure that, with the "cheese-flavored sauce" and all, they'd parse the nutritional information such that it doesn't seem so bad, not the other way around. The "best if used by" date is only one apart, but I can't tell much else from the packaging that might indicate some sea change at Green Giant.
I joke about the 800 numbers on food packages sometimes, but this has me curious enough that I might actually call.
