Thinking Rationally About The Ghost In My Apartment

So I got back from my Thanksgiving trip and my bedroom light was on again. As has been the case lately, this got me thinking. Is this just a weird electrical happenstance? That's followed me to a second apartment?
I could accept the coincidence -- particularly given the wind and touch-sensitive switch at the old place -- but last night I gave it a new wrinkle that kept me awake longer than I'd like to admit. If this is an electrical or a switch problem, why does the bedroom light never turn itself on when I'm asleep at night?
